I have a 1971 proof set and was wondering what it would be worth if I were to sell it.

The 1971-S proof set is selling for $4.95, so a dealer will pay at least 40% less. There is a rare 1971-S set out there though. The nickel has no S mint mark on it. That set sells in the $1,000 range.

Couldn’t tell you without knowing what denomination or type of set it is.

1971-S Proof Set is estmated at about $10.00.

The issue price was $5.00, so they have effectivley doubled in value. So long as the seal has not been opened or any scratched or fingerprints are not visible.

I suggest calling your nearest coin shop.

Check the Nickel in your set. If the Nickel does not have the Mint Mark on it, the set is valued at much more.
